Pure full carbon shaft experience. Engage has been designed to offer the players a pure full carbon experience, starting from the taper, passing through the sound and arriving at its surface finish. It was born with these objectives, and after years of research and development, starting from the already excellent Prime M and using our experience in composite fiber world, we managed to get what we wanted. The Engage shaft is made entirely of unidirectional carbon fiber, with several suitably sized and oriented layers coupled together to enhance as much as possible the positive characteristics of carbon in relation to the game of billiards. The lamination used, combined with the 14” pro taper and the famous patented front end technology AURORA, offers very great rigidity and a great reaction speed to external mechanical stresses while remaining very light. This results in extreme low deflection, extreme accuracy, the ability to transfer great effect to the cue ball even at low speeds and great control. In order to enhance the material as much as possible, we opted for a light soundproofing, preserving the acute, metallic and almost harmonic notes of the carbon fiber, dampening and rounding off those that are too high, jagged and annoying.
Pure carbon also for the finish, made pleasant to the touch, clean and smooth thanks to a careful work of sanding and polishing that makes the perceived comfort on the fingers lasting over time without the need for great maintenance. The brand new Engage shaft is not proposed as an evolution of the Prime, but as its alternative. It offers completely different features, more technical, more aggressive, designed and built not to be a copy of something else, but to be the highest expression of carbon fiber in cue sports according to Becue's interpretation.

We offer two types of ferrules in two colors, transparent and white.

The white ferrule allows to have a greater focus on the aim while doing the pre-shot routine. It is useful to the player because it can lead an immediate feedback on the perspective of the aiming direction. In fact, it gives more confidence on the certainty of the aiming line. That’s because, ideally, the white ferrule creates a white line in the brain that helps to materialize the line of the future direction of the ball. Then, there's out famous and classic transparent ferrule. It has always been our main choice. We thought that, since our cues are for the most part black, the contrast between the ferrule and the shaft may be disturbing to some. So, the clear material used in our ferrules can offer less distraction in the aiming phase. You can choose the one you prefer based on your needs, the elegant transparent ferrule or the new white one.

Natural Born Naked butt with Engage 11.8 mm shaft

Optics: I love the black optics with the transparent ferrule. It looks very valuable. Score: 5/5.

Haptics: The shaft feels great and very smooth (much smoother than my wooden shafts). There is absolutely no need to use gloves. Great! The engraving on the shaft looks great but you can feel it on your chin if you go down low during a stroke. If that bothers you, you will need to turn the logo to the bottom before each stroke. Score: 4/5.

Performance: The playing experience is great as the queue plays very direct. It feels a bit like switching from a middle class to a sports car. You must be a bit more careful and precise but in return you have more power resources and can push the limits easier. The aiming points on the cue ball can be closer to the center to achieve the same effect compared to my previous cue. The deflection is very low. Score: 5/5.

Dear Micheal, thank you for your feedback and accuracy in writing this review.
Good luck with your next match!

Your endgame shaft. Fullstop.

Simply phenomenal. You will never, ever be able to outplay the capabilities of this shaft. My only regret is that I didn't get the 12.3mm first. My stroke needs to develop more (among other things) before I can extract the most out of this 11.8mm. Thank you Alessandro for being patient with me and Becue for creating a fantastic product. I wish you guys all the best in penetrating the carbon fiber pool market. I wish to see top players using Becue products soon.

Thank you very much Tom, your feedaback is very important for us.
We are very happy you found out your right feeling with our products.
Thanks for your support!

Be cue 11.8

Just got my 11.8 engage shaft fitted with a HOW M tip. I was skeptical about them weighing in at 120g and it being a kind of standard, thats 4.2oz, But let me tell you that the shaft is very well balanced and that weight is in the back giving the shaft a lighter feel. Also the Auora vault plate, being its clear, had me a bit worried about lighting and possible glair. I will honestly say there is no problem at all, what you see when you'r down on the shot is what's on the end of the cue and thats the tip. The sighting could be different with lighter colored tips but for me the sighting is very "clear" and I have zero distraction. This shaft has a nice deep rich tone, almost like a nice old dense aged wood! I love that sound it makes me excited to shoot the next shot, it has great vocal feedback. The shaft is stiff not overly stiff, it has great feedback on all shots. The shaft is a tad less stiff than the REVO's I have been playing with. The 14in pro taper on the 11.8 is very comfortable for me, trust me when I say this is the smaller diameter shaft we have been missing in the carbon fiber world. The shaft is very smooth but not metallicy like some other carbon shafts. I will be experimenting more and look forward to see what its full capabilities are, but I can already tell this shaft just feels good on every type of shot. And yes it is very low deflection and will stand on its own with the lowest deflection shafts out there.

Ciao Andrew!
Thank you so much for taking the time to give us your valued opinion. Your feedback is essential to us and this review pays off our hard work and commitment.
Enjoy your new Becue!
